Periodontal Treatment

If you have periodontal disease, Dr Steven Du will perform a periodontal assessment of your mouth. A periodontal assessment will provide a clinical record of the level of disease prior to commencing treatment. Dr Steven Du will check periodontal pocket depth, gum (gingival) recession and tooth mobility. The level of bleeding and infection are also noted. This assessment also will be performed at regular intervals after initial periodontal treatment to assess the progression of healing and gum health.
